Rillsoft Project – Project Management Software with Genuine Planning Logic
Rillsoft Project is the central planning client of the Rillsoft platform. The Windows application provides professional tools for resource planning, capacity planning, scheduling and multi-project management.
The focus is on realistic planning: identify resource bottlenecks, balance capacities and reliably meet project deadlines under limited personnel capacity.
A key advantage: capacity balancing is based on defined qualifications in tasks – before the concrete assignment of individual employees. Only immediately before project execution are specific people assigned based on availability and qualifications.
Core Functions
- Multi-project resource planning: Plan resources across multiple projects simultaneously and identify cross-project bottlenecks early
- Capacity planning: Capacity balancing based on qualifications – before concrete assignment of individuals
- Scheduling: Forward and backward scheduling, critical path, network diagram and Gantt chart
- Staff scheduling: Employee utilization and shift planning in project environments
- Project controlling: Baselines, target-actual comparison for schedules, effort and costs#### Operating Modes
Rillsoft Project runs in three flexible operating modes:
Standalone Storage in local project files – without server connection. Suitable for individual planners and small teams. Consolidated projects and cross-project links are not available in this mode.
Server Mode (On-Premise) Connection to the Rillsoft Integration Server for multi-user operation and central data storage in the company network. Full data control on own infrastructure.
Cloud Mode Connection to Rillsoft Cloud for teams without own server infrastructure. Rillsoft operates the server – no own infrastructure project required.
