Rillsoft Integration Server – Backend Platform for Project Collaboration
The Rillsoft Integration Server is the central backend platform of the Rillsoft platform. It enables multi-user operation, central data storage and collaboration across the entire organisation – together with Rillsoft Project as the desktop client.
The Integration Server is installed on-premise in the company network, giving full control over data and infrastructure. For operation without own server infrastructure, Rillsoft Cloud is available as a hosted alternative.
Core Functions
- Multi-user operation: Multiple project planners work simultaneously on projects, resources and portfolios – with a central project database
- Time tracking: Employees report actual effort directly via the web interface back into resource planning
- Vacation planning: Request, approve and automatically transfer absences into resource planning
- Document management: Store, manage and share project documents centrally for all project members
- Email notifications: Automatic notifications on task and project changes
- Calendar integration (iCal): Export tasks to Outlook, Google Calendar and other calendar applications
- Web interface: Employees and administrators access project information, time tracking and vacation requests via browser#### Multi-Tenancy
The Integration Server is multi-tenant capable. Multiple organisational units can share the same server – with logically fully separated data. This architecture also forms the basis for Rillsoft Cloud operation.
REST API
Communication between Rillsoft Project and the Integration Server uses a REST API. This also enables integration with external systems such as ERP, DMS or time recording systems.
