Vacation planning groups calendar
Vacation planning was already offered in the previous мщт Rillsoft Project versions. Thus, employees can enter their desired vacation dates via a user-friendly web interface and then Rillsoft automatically checks for possible overlaps with planned tasks. After a successful clash check, the appointments are submitted for supervisor approval. In the Rillsoft Project 8 version, however, only supervisors could view and approve employees’ vacation dates.
With the introduction of Rillsoft Project 9 with RIS (Rillsoft Integration Server), vacation planning has been significantly improved and made more flexible. Of particular interest, however, is the introduction of various group calendars in Rillsoft Project 9. These can now be easily created for teams or departments, and an employee can even belong to several groups at the same time. This makes vacation planning extremely flexible.
By implementing the group calendars, teammates can view the vacation dates of their group members.
This transparency leads to improved collaboration and coordination within teams, as colleagues can better coordinate their own vacation schedules with others’ absences. This avoids bottlenecks, increases efficiency and ensures that projects run smoothly.
Thanks to these new features, vacation planning in Rillsoft Project 9 is significantly optimized and helps ensure that employees and supervisors alike benefit from an efficient and transparent way of working. The flexibility and the ability to collaborate in different groups make this version a significant advance for corporate vacation management.
