Software for role-based planning
Generic management resource planning is used for the following events:
- the workforce cannot be equated with the number of available employees; for instance, not every available employee can be assigned to a certain personnel requirement
- not all names of future project staff are known before the start of the project.
Generic resources (roles) are, for instance, apprenticed professions, such as software developer or design draughtsman, who will be used along with other properties, such as qualifications and costs. Role-based planning provides the foundation for a later capacity alignment and eases the optimisation of the planning process. Additionally, this software allows you to import predefined roles. If you are still unsure about who of your employees will be available for the project, but you are eager to get a rough planning or conduct a feasibility study, role-based personnel planning would be your first choice.
