Activate Rillsoft Project

You can activate a purchased Rillsoft Project license after settling the invoice (receipt of payment). The fastest way to activate is via the Internet – your computer must be connected to the Internet for this. Alternatively, activation by email is possible.

Education version: The free Education version comes without an invoice. You receive your serial number by email after requesting it via your request form. No receipt of payment is required – proceed directly with activation. After activation, the trial version becomes the Education version with the full feature set of the Enterprise version.

1. Open „Activate product“

  1. Start Rillsoft Project.
  2. After the program starts, press the „Esc“ key.
  3. Select the FILE menu and then the menu item Info.
  4. Click „Activate product“ in the upper right corner.

If the trial period has not expired yet, a message may appear. Simply confirm it with OK – the selection does not matter for the purchased license.

2. Enter the serial number

Enter the serial number in the Serial Number field. For a purchased license you find it in your invoice email, for the Education version in the email containing your serial number. If necessary, fill in the Organization and Owner fields.

After you enter the serial number, your ComputerID appears automatically.

3. Choose the activation method

You have two options:

  • Activate Online – your license is activated automatically right away. For a purchased license the invoice must have been paid; for the Education version activation happens immediately.
  • Request Activation Key by Email – your standard email program opens with the new message „Activate Mail“. Send this message. You will receive the activation key from Rillsoft GmbH by email.

4. Complete activation with the activation key

Once you have received the activation key by email, complete the activation as follows:

  1. Start Rillsoft Project.
  2. Open File > Info > Activate product again.
  3. Enter the received activation key in the Activation key field.
  4. Click OK.

This completes the product registration.
